Angus Irvine Playing Fields Fund for disadvantaged young people to play and enjoy sport

The Angus Irvine Playing Fields Fund (AIPFF) exists to increase opportunities for young people in disadvantaged areas to play sport and enjoy its many benefits.

Applications must focus on including young people, age 5 to 18 years old, who otherwise be excluded from sport such as:

  • Disadvantaged young people
  • Women and girls
  • Young people from minority ethnic communities
  • Young offenders and those at risk of offending

Grants will typically be in the range from £2.5k – £5k

Applications that meet the criteria will be considered in January, April, July and October.

October 2025 consideration deadline: Tuesday 30 September, 1 pm
January 2026 consideration deadline: Wednesday 1 October, 9 am
